Prayer Requests
- Please continue to pray for Pastor Tewell as he recovers from an emergency appendectomy yesterday.
- Please continue to pray for Justin Brooks who is now recovering from back surgery.
- Please continue to pray for Margaret Crumly, Andrew Crumly’s step mom as she had surgery this past Monday and the doctors were able to remove the cancerous tumor. She will be undergoing radiation treatments starting next week.
- Please pray for Art Sanchez who was recently diagnosed with cancer and will begin treatment soon.
- Please pray for Alberto and Paqui Puente, our missionaries to Spain, as they continue to see their church and Bible Institute grow.
- Please pray for Michael Yoo, our missionary to Korea, as he continues to work through some health problems.

- Pray that we would have God’s power to do what He has called us to do and that we would not do it in our own ability.
- Pray that God would give us boldness to share the gospel with those who need to hear it.
- Pray that God would open our eyes and hearts to see and love those around us in word and deed who need to know Jesus.
National Requests
- Pray for Christians and churches to be aware of God’s presence transforming their lives, and that they would be surrendered to what God wants to do in them.
- Pray for the next generation to receive truth and live as an example to the believers in seeking after Christ.
- Global Requests
- Costa Rica – Population: 5,246,714 – Christian: 14.8%
- The Costa Rican church has grown rapidly over the past few decades, producing one of Latin America’s most fervent mission movements. Pray for the churches of Costa Rica. While many are good at making converts, they fail in discipling them afterwards. Pastor’s have little support and struggle to provide consistent pastoral care. Pray that God would send wisdom and laborers to these believers as they reach their country and the surrounding Latin community for Christ.
- Bawari people in India – population: 129,000
- 99% Sikh – 0% Christian
- Many Bawaris are illiterate, so gospel presentations must be oral. As Sikhs, they believe that pleasing God comes from living a good life and practicing charity. They also believe in reincarnation and the law of karma. It will be difficult for them to embrace resurrection and grace, given their current beliefs.
- Pray for this unappreciated people group to understand that God greatly values them and sent his only Son to secure their salvation. Pray for mission workers who are willing to invest themselves in reaching the Bawaria. Pray for the Lord to awaken the Bawaria to the truth of his word and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

- This year they celebrate their 34th year traveling in evangelism. In the last eight meetings, they have seen 168 people saved.
- While they do see souls saved each week, they also leave the church knowing that they had added many prospects for the church to follow up on.
- In Tucson, AZ, they met a 19-year-old Muslim young man; they invited him for the big day, and he and his 3 younger siblings came. He told the pastor that he had accepted Christ. The pastor took a picture with him, but the young man asked that it not be posted anywhere. Even in the US, sometimes there is a price to pay to accept Christ.
